Lagoa de Conceição is a small tourist town overlooking the lagoon. It is the closest and easiest point of access from Florianopolis, close by bus to Barra da Lagoa. It is easy to go out in the evening to restaurants or to the many bars along the main streets and to walk back. From this central point with good connections, you can go to the big dune of Joaquinha and to the beautiful beaches of Mole and Galheta. The disadvantage is that you have to go there by car or by bus... Nevertheless, you can make beautiful walks along the lagoon and in the forest. For a more "natural" stay, prefer the south of the island.
