Travel Guide Pântano Do Sul

Pantano do Sul is a small fishing village, 27 km south of the center of Florianópolis. Once a whaling port, the village has become one of the most important artisanal fishing centers of the island. Its beautiful beaches and the good rollers that break there have been conducive to the development of tourism. Surfers have chosen to live here for part of the year. Not much remains of the church of Sant'Anna, built at the end of the 18th century, where the whalers used to go to pray before going to sea.
