Commune of 4 800 inhabitants. It takes its name from a Marian apparition that dates back to 1505. The Virgin appeared to a local shepherd, indicating with a stone the exact place where he should honor her. So the shepherd built a modest hermitage, which was later replaced by a baroque temple, which in turn was replaced by the modern building that we see today. It is a rationalist style church, built in 1957, where on the facade you can admire the sculptures of the Barcelonan Josep Maria Subirachs, which represent the Virgin and the twelve apostles.
