This seaside and family resort is located in one of the main banana production areas of the Canary Islands. Located at the mouth of the Barranco de Las Angustias, its small port is the oldest in La Palma and it was here that the conquest of the island began in 1492. Today, it is one of the most important fishing ports on the island, which also welcomes boats offering excursions. One will appreciate its large black sand beach, both pleasant and well protected. As well as the district of El Charco with its 16th and 17th century manor houses. Restaurants are concentrated near the Plaza de Castilla, facing the sea.
