This seaside resort developed mainly in the 1980s and 1990s, but it still has a family atmosphere. And it owes its development to its large beach, one of the most important of La Palma, planted with palm trees and coconut palms. Its black sand is of volcanic origin, but it also has slight shades of green, due to the powder of olivine rock. It is a popular place for paragliding and scuba diving. Since the eruption of the Tajogaite volcano, this resort, which was not affected by the lava, is no longer accessible due to gas emissions. Ask about it when you arrive in La Palma.
