Boischampré brings together the delegated municipalities of Marière, Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet, Saint-Rent-des-Champs and Vrigny. This young commune derives its name from the landscapes that compose it: wood, fields and meadows. The village of Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet attracts tourists because of its castle and church. The existence of a brotherhood in Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet, which was a cult to the patron saint of travelers, was confirmed as early as 1673. This one was revived in 1899 under Bishop Bardel, bishop of the Diocese of God. Since then, every year in July, travelers are bless.
