Nature, architecture and culture: the town of Sées well deserves its "Petite cité de caractère" label. Known and appreciated for its impressive religious edifice, Notre-Dame Cathedral, whose steeples can be seen in the distance, the town is also renowned for its historic quarter, its townhouses and its typical narrow streets. Located on the edge of the Écouves forest, Sées is surrounded by two Natura 2000 areas to the east and west. Along your journey through Orne, Sées is not the least accessible of towns, as it is served by two freeways and a railway station on the Caen-Tours line.
