Travel Guide Baie D'Adamas

The Bay of Adamas is quite spectacular: the different points of view that we observe from the road that bypasses it between Lagada and Achivadolimni will convince you. The bay itself offers mainly long sandy beaches: Lagada is the nearest beach to the port, west of Adamas. It offers clean water despite the proximity of the harbor and many trees give a natural shade. Without going too far in the opposite direction, to the airport, you can also swim at the family beach of Papikinou, very close to Adamas. Continuing along the bay, beyond the airport that appears to be out of nowhere on its desert plain, Achivadolimni is a large white sandy beach. Its waters are shallow, so ideal for families, but this beach can be exposed to the wind. It's from Achivadolimni's retreat that the camping of Milos is located, making it a relatively busy beach in season.
