This seaside resort is full of beautiful villas, second homes of rich Panamanians and some luxury buildings. A checkpoint, a few kilometers from the Pan-American Highway, filters the entries to keep a certain exclusivity to the place which fills up especially on weekends. The grass is green and the beach is fine sand. But on weekends, you have to ignore the quads and other motorized vehicles. Coronado has become one of the first destinations to settle in Panama, along with Boquete or Pedasi. Close to the capital, the small town is safe and friendly and has all the necessary amenities
