Unfortunately, a large complex of towers and villas has transformed the landscape, testifying to the urban development of this coastline, which offers some great escapes from the capital. It's a pity for this area, which has long remained wild, but the beach just beyond El Palmar remains magnificent and easily accessible. At low tide, it's ideal for long strolls. The black sand sparkles in the sunlight, contrasting with the orange crabs that scurry about. It's also a great spot for surfing. And if the waves are too strong, you can always swim in the cool waters of the Río Calabazo, which flows into the ocean.
