Two hours from the capital, it's the last beach in the province of Panamá Oeste (after that, the beaches belong to the province of Coclé) and one of the few where access is still free. Little known to tourists, it's one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast. It offers a little shade and a local restaurant (rarely open on weekdays) where you can enjoy fish and chips with patacones or garlic shrimps, for example. The junction is at Km 100 of the Pan-American Highway, and can be reached by car in 10 minutes, or on foot in 45 minutes (3 km). At the Y turn left.
