The Aledjo Wildlife Reserve covers 765 ha between the central and Kara regions, in the prefectures of Tchaoudjo and Assoli. It is bordered by several villages, including the village of Kpéwa, to the north, and Alehéridè, to the south. This natural site offers a surprising relief, covered with a diversified vegetation. In addition to the cephalophes, small antelopes, and the harnessed guibs, there are three species of primates, baboons, patas and vervets. Numerous species of birds and reptiles also populate this classified forest. In its heart, there is the Aledjo fault which slices the mountain like a saber cut.
