Travel Guide St. James

Missouri is the third largest wine producing region in the United States. The vineyards that appear on both sides of the road around St. James were planted by Italian immigrants in the late 19th century. Unfortunately, the Rosati Winery Museum, once located a few miles east of St. James, has closed. However, it is still possible to buy good wine in St. James itself and in neighboring towns. Note that the Vaccum Cleaner Museum, dedicated to the memory of vacuum cleaners of all kinds (!) also closed its doors during the 2019 covid crisis and moved to Rolla under the name Mid Missouri Vacuum
