Located between Kubu and Gretek, Tianyar is a small fishing village that stretches along a road called the Jalan Tianyar. It is one of the poorest and driest areas in Bali and does not have many tourist accommodations. If you are looking for a place off the beaten track, don't hesitate to come and discover the village of Tianyar. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from Amed. On the spot, do not miss Savana Tianyar which offers a superb view of the Agung volcano. It is a well known spot to take beautiful pictures. An advice, come early to avoid the heat, there is no shade!
