Between El Tule and Mitla, there is a branch line to go to Teotitlán del Valle (25 km from Oaxaca), a village where wool carpets are made, among other delicacies for eyes, using tisser and natural colours: cempaxóchitl (Inde ") for yellow, cochineal for red and indigo (añil) for blue. The motifs are of all types, from the typical Zapotecs grecques (including the palaces of the archaeological zone of Mitla), to characters and scenes inspired by painters of the twentieth century. You will find great achievements in multiple workshops.
