This ornamental village of 400 inhabitants, bordering the Ecouves and Sarthe forest, is known for a sad episode. On July 16, 1944, a Royal Air Force military aircraft collapsed in the municipality with six victims, three Canadian aviators and three English airmen. Their mission was to refuel French resistance in the Forves forest. A stroll pays tribute to the place-said La Chouannerie. You can also visit the village to discover the church of Saint Peter, mainly the seventeenth century.
