Located in the green valley of Valcellina, at the confluence of the Cellina and Settimana streams, Claut is a family ski resort in the heart of the Dolomites Friuli National Park. It is also an excellent starting point for hiking in the south of the park. From the village of Lesis, take the path that follows the torrent Cellina in the direction of "Casavento". At the foot of the Casavento River waterfall, there is a rock with dinosaur footprints. The Casa Clautana museum has now been moved to the Claut Visitor Center and focuses on the life of the mountain woman Clautana in the past.
