Frisange, a border town with France, is located on the road between Bettembourg and Schengen. This is where the first restaurant of the famous Luxembourg chef Léa Linster, the first and only woman in the world to win the prestigious gastronomic competition Bocuse d'Or, is located. In 1982, she took over the family business, which had been a café-restaurant-grocery store, and transformed it into a gastronomic restaurant, earning her first Michelin star in 1987. She also owns the Delicatessen store in Luxembourg City, located just a stone's throw from the Grand Ducal Palace. A Luxembourgish pride!
