(BAS-RENTGEN) This small village is situated on the edge of the ancient Roman road that went to Luxembourg. The municipality consists in fact of three small villages, Lower Rentgen, Haute-Rentgen and Preisch. This group of hamlets is not lacking, especially thanks to the small bridge on the back of the donkey, the «Spanish bridge» of Basse-Rentgen (th century). The village has several wayside, including a double stone cross, in High-Rentgen, with his crucified christ, erected in 1480 by Captain Peter Blager, in memory of his dead men and remains one of Lorraine's oldest crosses. In the village, a few craftsmen houses have preserved their entire physionomie of the th century.
