Built in the 17th century, Château de Preisch retains only the moat from the earlier buildings destroyed in 1680. Owned by the de Gargan family since 1850, it has undergone several transformations. A visit to this 170-hectare estate will reveal unusual furniture and paintings in a setting steeped in history. You'll also find a listed neo-Gothic chapel, built by Messin architect Jacquemin. The park is home to a remarkable flora (magnolias, purple beeches, bald cypresses) and a "British park" with a vegetable garden, century-old woods and pastures populated by Hampshire sheep.

Malgré le temps pluvieux, j'ai passé une excellente visite extérieure d'une part mais aussi intérieure.
Le personnel a été adorable et n'a pas hésité à nous raconter l'histoire du lieu et à rechercher des détails vis à vis de nos questions.

Nous sommes arrivés un peu par hasard au château de Preisch à l’occasion des journées “rendez-vous aux jardins”. Quelle belle surprise ! Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et avons participé à une chasse aux trésors qui a plu à toute la famille. Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu, très bien entretenu, et qui donne l’impression de voyager dans le temps.
