On the borders of Mortain and Domfrontais, this village in the south of the Channel, full of charm, partially wooded and bathed by the Sélune, is home to a jewel: the Fosse-Arthour. It is one of the natural sites of the Park frequented by hikers, fishermen, climbers and particularly appreciated by families. But the town, located on the circuit Lancelot du Lac, also values its history. In the past, the men here were foresters, glassmakers, potters, quarry workers and iron miners. The history was also marked by the production, in the Middle Ages, of stoneware pottery, as excavations on the site in 1984 brought to light.
