It is in this country that the Selun takes its source. Saint-Cyr-du-Bailleul is the birthplace of the family of the painter Theodore Géricault. A hamlet of the commune bears the name of Hotel Géricault. The village is organized around Saint Cyr and Sainte-Julitte church dedicated to Saint Cyr, Christian martyr of the fourth century and its mother Sainte-Hulitte. The municipality houses two unusual and almost antagonistic accommodations. You can stay at the Castle (a small castle in fact) or at the train station in the old railway station, whose decoration incorporates traces of its railway past and directly on the green Lane, which is now dedicated to hikers.
