It is in this country that the Selun takes its source. Saint-Cyr-du-Bailleul is the birthplace of the family of the painter Theodore Géricault. A hamlet of the commune bears the name of Hotel Géricault. The village is organized around Saint Cyr and Sainte-Julitte church dedicated to Saint Cyr, Christian martyr of the fourth century and its mother Sainte-Hulitte. The municipality houses two unusual and almost antagonistic accommodations.
