Bordered by the English Channel and located 35 kilometers from Cherbourg, the small town of Quinéville (270 inhabitants) is best known for its World War II museum. The town is also home to the Notre-Dame church, built in the 11th century, as well as the Château de Quinéville, built in the 18th century. Let's also mention the Great Stone Chimney, classified as a historical monument. Finally, during your walk in the village, go through the park of the castle to admire a Gallo-Roman vestige, which would have been erected in the 2nd century. A pretty little town which also seduces by its splendid fine sand beach.
