Like Salcajá, this authentic little village about 12 km from Quetzaltenango is famous for its church, colored yellow, green and red, whose photo has illustrated numerous magazines and books on Central America. It boasts a picturesque polychrome façade, richly decorated with statuettes, paintings and religious and naive drawings. A surprising sight, but not really worth stopping for, other than a quick glance.
