The small village, made up of a few houses around its beautiful Sainte-Pétronille church, whose bell tower is listed as a historical monument, enjoys a magnificent panorama. Indeed, from the top of its 120 meters, La Pernelle overlooks the shore of Val-de-Saire, embracing a panoramic view from the lighthouse of Gatteville to Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. A restaurant, also offering a breathtaking view, is very popular in the area - and rightly so. Going down the small winding road, you will discover a grotto where a statue of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes is located and which is the object of a summer pilgrimage.
