This small town on the route between Bellinzona and Lugano is interesting for its Santa Maria church, designed by renowned Ticino architect Mario Botta. Typically Ticinese, it is perched high up on the Alpe Foppa. The Monte Tamaro region offers a wealth of outdoor activities.
