The Zirbenweg trail, for example, takes you through one of the largest stands of arolla in the Alps, at an altitude of 2,000 metres, amid the sumptuous scenery of the Inn valley and surrounding mountains. The ascent of the Glungezer is an even more sporting adventure, and one that is nothing short of prodigious. Tulfes is home to the world's only cembro wood boules course (Kugelwald am Glungezer).
