In Wattens, hikers and mountain bikers will find a multitude of nature trails at altitudes of up to 2,300 meters. The Wattens valley (Wattental) abounds in marked trails for easy strolls or challenging hikes. One of these hikes can take you as far as the Mölser Berg. Here, at an altitude of 2,300 meters, lies Lake Möls, where Maximilian I used to fish for trout. It's an area of outstanding beauty and a classic for hikers in the region. Wattens is also known throughout Austria as the home of Swarovski Park and its crystal sculptures. The town itself is of no particular interest.
