Mayrhofen is a dynamic alpine village at the foot of the Ziller Valley and one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Tyrol. Over the years, Mayrhofen has developed from a small hamlet in the municipality of Brandberg into an increasingly important resort with a wide range of facilities, including hotels and restaurants. The ski area has a total of 57 lifts and 136 km of slopes, including the Harakiri slope, which is known to sportsmen as the steepest in the country with a gradient of 78%. The highest point in the Penken massif, at 2,250 m, allows you to ski on the glacier.
