The city of Montebelluna, located at the foot of Montello, is known as the world capital of sports shoes and ski boots, and is home to the headquarters of the Geox shoe brand. Montebelluna also has a Museum of Natural History and Archaeology, an interesting area that is well worth a visit. In the land of the mythical Prosecco, among the green hills of the vineyards, lies the Montello plateau. It is a slight relief formerly covered by forests, precious wood mines for the Serenissima's naval arsenal. Today the Montello hosts a picturesque circuit of panoramic walks.
