This small town, between the plains and the mountains, is famous for its production of excellent white and red wines and for being the birthplace of the famous 16th century painter, Cima da Conegliano, whose birthplace is open to visitors. Walking along the ancient Contrada Granda, now Via XX Settembre, you will discover its arcades and palaces of the 15th and 17th centuries. The city was originally built on the top of a hill and still preserves two towers, Torre Mozza and Torre della Campana, of the fortress that was built in the 10th century. From the gardens of the city's castle, the Castelvecchio, you can admire the beautiful surrounding landscape.
