It is the most important resort in the valley and one of the most famous ski resorts in Italy with over 13 ski slopes framed by beautiful scenery. Home to the Stelvio National Park, the largest of the sports parks, Bormio is a town cut in two. On the one hand, the well-preserved historic centre, and on the other, the modern part that developed in the 1960s. Bormio is the capital of the Upper Valley and is popular in winter and summer. The presence of a thermal spring contributes to the town's strong attraction potential. Via Roma is the heart of the town: you will find many shops there.
