One of the best preserved villages in the valley. Its historic centre has many points of interest. Here you can admire Palazzo Visconti Vinschgau of the th Century, which houses the municipal museum, and the church San Giorgio (th and th centuries) with its beautiful frescoes.Grosio is the only agglomeration in the valley where women still wear traditional costume, inspired, apparently, by that of Armenian slaves. It was also in Grosio that many engravings on the rock were discovered, dating back to the Neolithic and the bronze age. One can admire several of the Parco delle Incisioni Rupestri in the south of the village.
