Located in the foothills of Mount Lebanon, only 14 km from Beirut, Bsous is a small village of 6,000 inhabitants where a large Christian community (mainly Maronite) lives. In summer, Beirut people come to Bsous to take a break and on weekends, there can be a certain rush. A little further back from the village centre, the silk museum overlooks the surrounding mountains.
