The Grottes caves are one of the most visited tourist sites in Lebanon. Closed during the war, the caves were restored to prevent vandalism, before being reopened during the summer of 1995. They are now being exploited by the German company Mapas, which invested $ 11 million for the rehabilitation of the site. Do not leave Lebanon before you have visited them. It's very impressive!
