On Route 37, which rises north, kilometres from Tokaj, lies the picturesque village of Tolcsva, where you can visit a small wine museum (with no great interest) and dine in Ős Kaján, the culinary reference in the region. The Domaine Tokaj de Sárospatak has a cellar with a few very good wines, including a 1972 aszú, the "wine of the century". In summer, the Art art Days (Zempléni fesztivál - www.zemplenfestival.hu) are held in Tokaj, but also in Szerencs, Sárospatak and Sátoraljaújhely, and in all villages along this route 37 north.
