The development of Seruci has been achieved thanks to mining activity, like so many towns in south-western Sardinia. Until 2018, coal was mined here. The miners are still in shock from having definitively put their helmets on. The Seraci mine was the last active coal mine in Sardinia. The site has been occupied for a very long time, as it is the Nuraghic remains that attract tourists to this small town. To get there, from the road to the mine, take the first on the right. A little further on are about a hundred recently restored Nuraghic huts, but the work continues.
