Located 2 km from Masua, Nebida is part of the Historical and Environmental Geomineral Park of Sardinia, recognized by UNESCO, as well as most of the abandoned mines of the Iglesiente. The village is home to the remains of the Lamarmora laundry, whose pink arches are often featured in the region's tourist brochures. The women employed at the mine used to clean the raw minerals with sea water. To get there, you have to go down a staircase with a slope of about 300 steps. Tiring but spectacular, the panorama offers a full view of the Nebida coastline, the Gulf of Gonnesa, the island of Piana and the island of San Pietro.
