This coastal village of Montiferru, north of Cabras, is famous for its arch-shaped rock, shaped by the sea and wind. Some 15 metres high, this arch is the result of marine erosion of an ancient cave formed of limestone, marl and fossil deposits. But S'Archittu is also a charming little village stretching along its beach, home to restaurants and bars. Parasols bloom in season, but the beach is never crowded. To the south, a beautiful stroll along the cliffs leads to the towers of Su Putu e Pozzo, which are much less crowded than the "arco" on the other side of the village.
