The village of Panormos and the beaches of Kantouni, Linaria and Platy Gialos form a large, tranquil village, surrounded by hills and bathed in greenery. The first two beaches are separated by a rocky promontory, while Platy Gialos is located a little further north. All three are family-friendly, with magnificent sunsets to the west. Small, inexpensive studios with kitchenettes can be found throughout the area. Special mention should be made of the pleasant café-bars that dot the coastline here: while you shouldn't expect any great gastronomic revelations, you'll find them a perfect place to enjoy an aperitif.
