This peninsula that juts out into the Gulf of Gökova was, a few years ago, an unexplored paradise. This is no longer the case today and the concrete of Marmaris is getting closer. That said, it is far from the crowds of Bodrum or Marmaris. In comparison, Datça is a quiet little town. The road has been considerably improved and the landscape is impressive. Many creeks bathed by turquoise waters. The village is really tiny (and filled with souvenir shops) and everything is concentrated around the only main street. One reservation however: the omnipresent wind which explains the presence of many mills
