Welcome to Ios! The "enfant terrible" of the Greek islands changes color and atmosphere with the seasons. In summer, it welcomes many visitors in search of non-stop partying. However, the island also has other charms that attract a different clientele: superb beaches, a pretty village and the singular beauty of its rocky landscape. Ormos, the island's port - Yalos to its inhabitants - is large and well protected. More and more hotels and rooms for rent are being built here, and there's even a campsite. The beach is fairly quiet, but not always very clean and very touristy in summer. Out of season, it's a different story..
