The area is famous for canoeing, swimming and hiking. To cross the Sioule, a bridge was built in the 12th century. It is classified as a historical monument. It was watched over by the Château Rocher, built at the same time, today its impressive remains are partly accessible. Hiking trails lead to it. The site offers a breathtaking view over the valley. In Menat, the church and its Romanesque nave, as well as the abbey, which will be attached to the abbey of Cluny, hold the attention of the visitors. The places were occupied for a longer time. A proof? The impressive menhir of the Bois des Brosses.
