Tabgha, whose name comes from the Greek word "Heptapegon" (seven sources), is associated with three episodes of the New Testament: the appearance of risen Jesus to the Apostles, the multiplication of bread and fish, the Beatitudes. The church commemorating this last episode is on the Mount of the Beatitudes, outside the main site of the visit. From Tabgha, you can choose to continue road No. 90 towards the Mont des Mont Des and then join Vered Hagali, or take your road around the lake on Route No. 87 towards Bazaar.
