Ein Hod is located some fifteen kilometers south of Haifa, on the western face of Mount Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This picturesque village was founded in the 1950s by a colony of Dadaist artists, including the painter Marcel Janco, to whom a museum is dedicated and which can be visited today. An information center for all the village's artists provides all kinds of useful information about the community's artistic activities. It also organizes guided tours of the village.
