After crossing the Jordan River, at the far north of the lake, we arrive in Beth Saida Valley, which belongs to the Betekha, Beth Saida, Majrase and Zaki Nature Reserve (or Bet Tsaida Zachi Reserve). Beit Saida is the ruins of a former fishing village from which three of the twelve apostles (Pierre, André and Philippe) originated. It is here that Jesus would have made the first multiplication and healed a blind.
