Travel Guide Montrottier

Charming town where you can stroll to discover the gate of the old Priory of the 15th century, the covered market built under Louis XIV who in 1693 confirmed the privilege of the markets of Montrottier. You can still discover the church, two 15th century panels of which are classified as Historic Monuments, the Château de la Rouillère, the presbytery of Albigny, which occupies the site of the old castle, the Mazieux cross and the Saint-Martin-les-Périls chapel, whose origin dates back to the 12th century. Montrottier also offers you its "Landscape Observatory" through several routes. Leaflets and explanatory booklets for each trail can be picked up at the town hall.
