Franco Provvedi is not here to act. Although he is a talented actor with Italian accents, he opened Bocca di Rosa (title of a song: " La chiamavano bocca di rosa, Metteva l'amore, metteva l'amore"…) to make you discover Croix-Rousse inhabitants (and Lyonnais who wish to go up there) the pizzas alla romana. A dough mind worked mainly made with Italian flour and with a good leaven that takes all its time to rise the dough, topped with products directly from Italy (from the Marche region to be precise) and local vegetables. Enjoy a moment of gourmandise and good humour in a restaurant inviting you to stay on the spot to feel like in Italy than to take home pizza (al taglio, very fashionable at the moment). Romarino, Cippola, Margherita, Parmiggiana, Bufalina… Everyone finds their happiness accompanied by a glass of wine, of course Italian. There's a small delicatessen putting on sale the Marche products to bring home the best of Italy. A mouth and a new address to hug tight.

Nicely leaned to Bistrot des Maquignons, whose excellent reputation is known in this neighborhood of Guillotière, the owners, Isabelle Milandri and Thierry Laffite, opened Comptoir 113. A quite trendy address, highlighting - but it is not an innovation for the Bistro - our best local produce. At Comptoir, it is the more contemporary idea of "snacking" that appears. But a high range snacking, not in the service, since you have to go to the counter to get your orders, but the quality of the dishes proposed. Fabulous homemade charcuterie and foie gras of the same barrel, white ham with truffle or raw Iberian ham Bellota, salmon Tartar, cheeses from Lassagne perfectly refined with the cut... The slate continues to please our tastebuds. Frankly, we enjoy it, even if the prices are consequently. The other happiness of the place, it is that this address could also appear in our Bars à vins section. More than 200 wine by the glass references served at good temperature, here they propose to drink less (well for those who want it...) but better (for everyone!). Warm setting, friendly team, quality ingredients, this Comptoir understands all of our urban desires turned towards the countryside. Futé likes it.

Considering how long we hear, first by our parents, then by our wife, that we can get lost at "Chez Plumeau", frankly, what a happiness to have a brand offering us a refuge with such wide opening hours! At Chez Plumeau, snacks and wine bar, you feel good. A little as at home near very chic Brotteaux, in this cosy and familiar interior at the same time. It's simple, once settled down at the bar, right in front of the green staircase, you would readily prolong your delicacy day by enjoying a new glass of wine whereas our dish is empty for a long time. And if it is empty, it means that it was filled with good things at the mealtime. In summer slate menu, a Caesar salad, a Limoux flank steak with shallot and its sautéed apples, beef tartare, a pistachio in sausage sauce with wine and a caponata in Sicilian way, before treating yourself with a simple strawberry dish. The whole accompanied by a good bottle (or just one glass) of Burgundy duly chosen or of a Côtes-du-Rhône wine of the owner. Homemade dishes and table d'hôte, fine wine and good food, every effort is made so that you feel at ease, even if you have a nice moustache. Let's get lost at Chez Plumeau!

There is even a winter garden to enjoy an exceptional environment in this neighbourhood of Halle Tony Garnier where buildings are pulling together. A "néo-bourgeoise" Maison where senior executives play petanque before lunch. The interior enjoys a contemporary design by François Dumas. Beautiful, simple and contemporary, intimate, cosy, comfortable and refined, a real success. As for the cuisine, chef Laurent Vernet takes pleasure in reinventing the “gastronomic brasserie” with the seasons. Freshness and flavour of traditional dishes revisited with beautiful touches of originality. You will find on the à la carte menu small shrimp spring rolls with Thai basil sauce, grilled aubergine “by Josper” and vitello pesto rosso. Veal chop in pastry with Parmesan, a timeless classical beef tartare, 7-hour cooked lamb shoulder or a whole farm-bred duck fillet with stuffed with Parma with spice sauces. Do not miss the “La Maison” cream puff with salted butter caramel. Wine and spirits list accordingly. You can prolong the game with a surprising cocktail list.

A setting a baroque strand by a mixture of genres that must be guessed under the sifted light of the places. Among the newest, the Fiston. This "fiston (son)" is Julien Dargaud, fell into the cauldron of the kitchen from his childhood. In a place tastefully decorated by Pierre Chaduc, the Fiston offers a traditional, tasty and inexpensive cuisine... All you need to be delighted without resistance. Close to Jean Macé station, on a quiet street, the Counter Jayet offers an invitation to take its time to enjoy the beautiful inner terrace, sheltered from any agitation. The room is not bad either, with its nice counter where one likes to linger, and the kitchen has nothing to hide. Little caveat on the day of our visit, a little overloaded service - yet we were not many - and a charming young girl between the kitchen, the room and the terrace. The card is season, with a formula of the day served midday and evening - it is rare - and fresh quality products cooked home by a passionate chef. On the day's menu this summer a little too hot, a Tatin of tomatoes in balsamic vinegar, mozzarella, little provençal stuffed, to finish with a burnt cream with a scent of lavender. It's cool and it's good! The Counter also offers gourmet suggestions: sweet salad in duck fatty liver, smoked magret, gizzard conflict and mesclun to walnut oil, charolais beef tartar, fresh fries or a unravelled of raie line à to the shallot. This address in the very central and very required Rue du Palais-Grillet shows how much Asian cuisine is capable of "fusion" while preserving its traditional soul. It is always a happiness to sit in terrace in this quiet street of the city centre, but even more at Mrs Wynn where the reception shows great kindness. Service with wide opening hours to start at the afterwork (specialty of Wednesday at Mrs Wynn's) with an aperitif accompanied by Asian tapas - very wide menu with bouchées vapeur, spring rolls, sushis, chicken skewers with lemon grass or a delicious beef & chips with Thai herbs - and to finish after midnight by listening to good sound. In dining room, soothng deco rwearing red to enjoy the cuiisine of a chef, Patrick Ramsany, who has remained at the helm of Key Largo in Saint-Tropez for 17 years. Very beautiful dishes, tasty, to travel between Asian countries and to go back to France: foie gras terrine with Asian spices, Thai pepper chutney, lobster ceviche or a banh-cuon revisited with duck to get started. Coming up next, a delicious wok with prawns seasoned with garlic and black pepper, a sea bass in banana leave to be discovered with a beautiful gourmet curiosity, an astonishing Thai bouillabaisse with seafood, a Black Angus beef fillet with Thai sauce or a bo bun. Futé congratulates Le Dandy for having managed to impose its style in a central neighbourhood, right next to Palais du Commerce, and yet it's not that easy to highlight. Le Dandy's asset is first of all the welcome and the perfect service. Wide opening hours, but mostly great smiles and a real passion of the welcome team which may even touch an expert accountant. There is always room in this great Dandy, on the terrace or in the room that hides some secrets (especially during lively evenings), which has managed to update a carefully crafted brasserie menu. This summer, salads (Caesar, Gourmande, Perigordine, Pêcheur…) have had our preference, but the eggs in Burgundy red wine sauce can delight us in any season. A rather short menu for a brasserie, but guarantees the quality of the dishes: Dandy Burger, pan-fried beef filet with morel sauce, a whole fish of the day roasted with virgin olive oil, a fisherman's risotto, Lyon specialities like an andouillette gratin served with her gratin Dauphinois or a calf's liver seasoned with parsley. Fresh fruit salad, a delicious gourmet coffee and homemade ice-cream. Interesting wine list. Meal, drink, afterwork and even evening party, Le Dandy won the bet and is part of the gourmet countryside landscape.

In Lyon, selling burgers is like selling quenelles, it's super competitive! Not a district, not a street where a restaurant does not proclaim itself the specialist in this contemporary form of restoration. What's That Food, WTF for the intimate - and because it's faster and more fun (yes, one can confuse with What the fuck? that one could translate "what is this Mess? ") -has the advantage of some experience since he previously looked after bagels (nothing to see with the burgers, but WTF still offers a range of bagels) under another sign but at the same location. The location, this is the highlight of this address, which has the good taste to be at the crossroad of the hospitals (Grange Blanche, Léon Bérard among others), faculties (medicine, pharmacy among others) and courtesy Place (Light Museum among others). For the rest, you must be able to face a queue worthy of this name at lunch time (to believe they are alone in the neighborhood) to enjoy a still good bagel or burgers that left us on our hunger. 5 bagels, 5 burgers, but fresh products (even homemade breads) and local (the market is right next door) is better expressed in the first than in a "Fromagez-vous" which has not packed us at the opening. A board, go instead to creations of other flavours, like this " @ Canon". Bonus point for attention to respect for the environment and recycling. In the end, and without great competition at the moment in the Monplaisir district, WTF is very much worth recommending by the Smart.

The Ainay area offers the finest surprises and best culinary travels. In Rhône, just steps from Rue de la Charité, here is a novelty which takes us to the opposite, since Takumi is a genuine Japanese restaurant in "dim bar" version. Small summer terrace on the street, but especially a room which is both sober and warm. A counter with a few chairs for those in a hurry and a room in the mezzanine to relax and enjoy the kind welcome and service. Even the "novices" of ramen (Japanese pasta served in seasoned and seasoned and garnished broth) will soon become unconditional regulars of Takumi. What are the reasons? The quality of the reception and service, as we've said, but also the quality of the dishes elaborated with quality ingredients. Homemade cuisine made at the moment, full of freshness and flavours, in "bowl plate" which are both beautiful and delicious. What is beautiful this Edgar-Quinnet square and how pleased it is to have found, at one of its ends, this Italian store-restaurant held by a happy female band, from the kitchens to the service. A nice terrace from the beautiful days and the friendly room, its stall with antipasti, cheeses and meats and its high slate where the formulas of the day are announced. A cuisine based on the quality of the Italian products offered in a generous salad served in a superb dish or in fine sauces. Sausage plates, vegetables or cheeses complete the offer of the day. But we must not miss the tiramisu house, one of the few that can be said to be better than ours… To lick the bottom of the dish, is it not Madam? Address especially appreciated by Petit Smart.

There is no doubt that the "pasta bar" concept is a good idea for children - we often demand it - than adults who do not have time, or the means, or even envy, to settle in a traditional restaurant. Nooï, which is to be delivered to you, has close to 50 franchised establishments in the hexagon and attracts young people from nearby high school as well as a larger public in search of a good quality meal. It should be said that with menus from 5,30 € for an average ticket below 10 €, Nooï offers, in a colourful and pleasant setting, a fast service, a high quality raw material and attractive rates, especially at the time of a busy lunch. But what happens in the proposed two-size boxes, 750 and 920 (to make a big bite!)? Pasta cooked "al dente", sauces to choose from a dozen (pesto, bollywood, crazy cheezy, so fish so good…) and ingredients like cheeses. There is a drink and/or dessert (donuts, brownie, panacotta, tiramisu…) and a cheap menu, more balanced than fast food, will give us energy for the rest of the day or night! A fresh idea to eat fast and well.

Yes, but, it's a place which we have abandoned in favour of the new banks of the Rhone which offer a more pleasant setting all the same, let's admit it. As time goes by, the banks of Saône was restored at the same time as this famous Bar which has found a new lease of life. On summer evenings, open-air café atmosphere with music and well-served seafood, but still pleasant snacks with salads which are largely worth others, ideal boards to accompany an aperitif, like this whole sausage or toasted spread available according to all the desires, without forgetting the ice-creams and the beautiful drink menu and a wide range of champagne. There are many "all inclusive" package to enjoy on the Quai de Saône within a very nice atmosphere.

The least we can say for this address is that there's testosterone behind the counter. All snowmen dressed with a tile shirt and a blue deck, they resemble a band of hipsters as well as a brigade of cooks. The main thing in this "undue" atmosphere is that they all smile and take the time to receive you very properly, even a bit of conversation. Big Fernand is frankly cool - the "offset" of the sign -, but it's mostly good. Let's take a good point to home fries called the Fernandines (French fries are the feminine touch of this brand?), golden golden gold like you love. Otherwise, Big Fernand does not make hamburgers, but hamburgés. The difference is not clear, but the ingredients are French and quality. So, rather than mal a bad slice of Cheddar and a rotten sauce, we prefer the slice of tomme of Savoy fondue and Tata Fernande's home sauce. On the side of the drinks, you can indulge in the Artisanales's artisanales artisanales, French strawberries in sugar, Gisèles or cotta. In the end, Big Fernand marks many Points in our ranking of the good addresses of burgers in Lyon, especially as the house also makes deliveries.

Le Grand Café Lyonnais is first of all a place at the corner of rue des Marronniers and rue de la Barre opening onto the huge place Bellecour. The terrace is not the most attractive in the neighbourhood, but you can sit inside to discover the cuisine of a chef we know, Roger Jaloux. One of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France 1976 (and member of the Toques Blanches) does what he does best: a bourgeois cuisine learned at Paul Bocuse where he officiated for nearly 40 years (it was one of the first apprentices with other great names of the Lyonn cuisine like Marguin or Orsi). In short, the chef knows his business and allows gourmands - and the several tourists roaming the neighbourhood - to revisit the Lyon classics: poached eggs in meurette way, pike quenelle, andouillette braised with shallot, without forgetting the sauerkraut coming straight from Gast's. You conclude with a waffle like Grand'Mère's and its chocolate cream and Chantilly cream. An establishment open with wide schedule, where you can quench your thirst before roaming the streets and prolonging the break.

It was probably thought that the sushi invasion would stop there, satisfying the needs of a chic and demanding clientele working at the Brotteaux in search of new culinary sensations. Well no! How not to react to the opening of a new address in the heart of the city, at the emblematic corner of Grenette street and rue Mercière, even though the latter has not been the guardian of the Lyon gastronomy for a long time. We will probably be treated with old "réacs", but we had to dare to offer sushi, especially of this poor quality, at this location. We talk about "culinary creation", but we are always looking for the fish in this maki! We talk about fusion food, but how do you enjoy a maki in foie gras? Planet Sushi is apparently more than 180 products to "taste", but how do you want this to be fresh when the products are presented as a ready-to-eat collection? In the area of marriage between Japanese and European cuisine, Lyon offers so much better than ignoring this address.

The rue des Marronniers, traditionally dedicated to Lyon cuisine and not always the best, offers us a new Stopover in Belle-Ile. While last year, we had the choice between Brittany and Savoy, the balance has definitively turned to the west side of France with new owners. Small terrace in the street, warm rooms covered with blond woodwork adorned with a few marine photos, reception and service of exemplary discretion and remarkable efficiency. This leaves us all leisure to savour the pancakes and pancakes of a genuine crêpier adhering to a group of real professionals who defend the good taste of buckwheat flour, here 100% organic, and a completely homemade fabrication based on fresh produce. The classics are déclinent déclinent, from ham egg cheese to spinach cream cream, and we cracked for a galette to Brittany's massive that one would have liked even more generous (when it's good…). Beautiful salads of the vegetable garden, well-appointed and well composed, and among the many pancakes, a wonderful treat to the caramel salt De salt, a treat.

Known for a long time in the old Charlemagne district (becoming since then the new Confluence district), the Midi Minuit brasserie was set up in the heart of the Presqu'île (the peninsula), Rue de la République, two years ago. And that's why, one Sunday of balances opening, your favourite Petit Futé was sitting at a brasserie, one of the very few restaurants open in the sector with so wide opening hours! First good point, Midi Minuit has kept a large part of the superb decoration of the place by tastefully vegetating it. In addition, a small terrace sheltered from the passageway as a bonus. As for the service, we felt the intent to do well, some degree of efficiency and the attempts to smile behind a stained blouse, but let's say there is still room for improvement. The most amazing thing is undoubtedly the cuisine. A true short menu (problem, more salmon steak…) and dishes home cooked by a chef who holds up. Some snacks and flammekueches (that could be avoided), giant salads, but above all a lamb shoulder confit in its pearl juice, a duck breast and fig chips or a royal sea bream fillet in almond crumble. All is done at honest rates. Desserts slightly lower for the quality and slightly higher for the rates (a floating island with citruses a little bit tough at €7). In a nutshell, the address of République has pleasantly surprised us, even though some adjustments still need to be made.
