A commune which shelters a beautiful medieval village of approximately 700 inhabitants. The population swells significantly in the summer months, and for good reason. This fortified village dating from the 11th century is built on a rocky spur of marl and limestone. It is the former site of a Gallo-Roman domain, in the heart of the Barrès, between the limestone of the Rhône valley and the basalt of the Coiron. It is pleasant to lose oneself out of time, between castles and vestiges of Fort Barry. It is advisable to keep a close eye on the children because the place sometimes has some tricky passages for the youngest. Don't miss the chance to get lost for a while to recharge your batteries...
