The village of Borne (40 inhabitants) takes its name from the river of the same name that slides from the Tanargue massif, where it takes its source, to the southern Cevennes where it joins the Chassezac at Foot-de-Borne. This unknown village houses the ski resort of the cross of the Cross of the Bauzon, the most important of the Rénovée which has just been renovated, but also the remains of the Abbey of Des and the Tower Tower. Much less famous than its colleague for Mazan, the abbey of Des is only a ruin. The dit is more famous for the nearby Chambons climbing site. Dominating the village, the tower tower, the relic of the medieval dungeon, gives him a great look. Two GR and several country trails pass via Point. This is a base camp where you like to stay skiers, climbers, amateurs and more generally wild mountain.
